Can from lowcostbeer. Pours near black, small beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, liquorice, lactose, strawberry confectionary. Taste is quite sweet at first with the ice cream flavourings coming through, particularly chocolate and strawberry. A little artificial. Quite a roasty and coffee noted bitter finish. Mixed.

This stout poured a black colour with a creamy, brown head. Nice lacing. Scents include vanilla, cocoa, roasted malts, fruity aroma. First swig was quite sweet with flavours of strawberries, cocoa, vanilla, a little coffee and sugar. Finish is syrupy sweet with strawberry flavours lingering.

Bottle. Close to black colour, with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted, some berries, mild liquorice root as well as some slight vanilla and lactose to it. Flavour is vanilla, sweet berries, some lactose, mild toasted nutty tones with a bit of chocolate as well.

Can from B&M, Chippenham. A brown-black beer with a beige head and the lightest of fizzes. Fresh raspberry (rather than strawberry) up front. Smooth mouthfeel but otherwise not much sign of the vanilla. A little chocolate syrup before a pleasant roasty malt finish with lasting raspberry. Less sweet and less fake and gimmicky than I expected - this is actually rather well balanced and enjoyable. Liked the raspberry.

Can from a Costco. Pours dark brown with red highlights against the light, large foamy tan head, coffee aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter mocha latte-roasted malt taste, bit of lactose, smooth body, long mocha finish. Smooth and tasty.

Woof. Comes on strong with a dark chocolate front, then grows overwhelmingly sweet with a ton of lactose and strawberry. Finishes cloy and clingy. Not good.

473ml can from B&M Bargains. Opaque and near black in colour, with a creamy, beige, and long-lasting head. Aroma of Vanilla., dark chocolate and red berries. Flavour had some smooth chocolate upfront, more vanilla, slightly toasty malts and some fruity sweetness. The finish was rich and chocolatey. Fun drinking and pretty good brewing.

[16oz can from B&M Stores, Reading.] A glossy black pour with a rim of off-white head; rich vanilla and chocolate aroma; chocolate malt body with a little strawberry and vanilla; and a lingering dry and tart strawberry finish. Rather well made, I was expecting lots of artificial flavouring, but this is well balanced, and very pleasant to sip.
