Black with thin dark cream head. Nice aroma, very malty, woody. Obvious whisky notes. Initial taste is terrible. Like licking wet wood. Way too intense. Finish is much better. Malt, chocolate and whisky.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought online @ the brewery.
Very dark brown with a minimal beige head. Bowmore is very present in the aroma, along with some dark chocolate. Sweet taste with a boozy peated whisky finish. I guess you could say it's a bit thin bodied, not very balanced and too sharp but all in all I very much like it.

Pours pitch black as an engine oil, nice tan head. Sharp peated and some medicinal whisky, iodine, peat, very (too) thin texture, sweet chocolate, dry cacao beans, massive booze, leather. Ok-ish...

Spiritus, groene appel, prut, oud nat hout, klein beetje rokerige Islay whisky, teer, karamel, drop. Boozy en scherp, onplezierig. Nee dit is geen topper.

Pitch black colour, brown foam disappears quickly. Nose of peat, iodine, ashes, roasted malts coffee. Taste is roasty,, some tartness, peaty and ashy. A bit unbalanced.

Zwart bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is warm, bitter en ietwat zoet met overduidelijk whiskey, ietwat rook en een vleugje chocolade. De whiskey overheerst iets te veel naar mijn mening.

Tap @ Flink Gegist Festival. Black. Coconut, marzipan, roast, whisky and dried fruit in the aroma. Hint of peat in the flavor. Roasty dried fruit, marzipan and coconut, Tarry finish. A thick fluid.
