Our Hippy Berliner was such a success that we ebbed to consumer demand and brewed a special edition with the addition of cooling cucumber. Bursting with sweet cucumber notes, balanced by lemon peel and tropical fruits. On the palate this beer is puckering, but very refreshing, full of cucumber, citrus and balanced by light hopping, finishing very clean.

44cl can at Niamey's monthly tasting, thanks Rich for hauling this one from Singapore to Africa. Dorée, col fin blanc. Arôme rend de suite de belles effluves de courges le tout est très frais avec un rappel de melon - petit effet citronné en rétro avec léger accompagnement de grains. Palais est léger, facile à boire et super rafraichissant sous la chaleur du Niger. Effet de concombre frais végétal qui se prête ben au caractère berliner weisse et son côté citrique. Malt est en appui et perce en fin de bouche.

440ml can (4%) shared. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of cucumber, fruit salad. Taste of cucumber, fruits, wheat, light sourness. Light bodied, soft carbonation. Nice and refreshing, good summery Berliner.

Can sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Max & Stas. Hazy pale yellow with a white head. Lacto, vegetal, cucumber, melon, sourish. I don't like cucumber.

[ As 8 Wired Cucumber Hippy ].
ABV: 4.0%. Cloudy matt light to medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, funk, grass, cucumber, leather. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, cucumber, funky, sweet malt, refreshing. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180728]
