Made in Dublin, Ireland at St. James's Gate, Guinness™ Nitro IPA is brewed with Irish barley malt, a touch of roasted barley and five hop varieties — Admiral, Celeia, Topaz, Challenger and Cascade. The Challenger, Cascade and Topaz hops are dry-hopped to accentuate a sharp citrus aroma. The beer's blend of CO2 and Nitrogen helps to balance out the profusion of hop flavors, while also creating the signature surge and settle made famous by Guinness™ Draught. The IPA is brewed with the same unique Guinness yeast strain used to ferment all stouts at St. James's Gate.

Can, 5.3%. Woody and papery hop aroma. Clear amber colour. Big stable, very creamy white head. The flavour is malty and nutty with a nice enough woody bitterness. A little spicy hop in the finish. Thin mouthfeel.

Can shared @ tasting. Beautiful head on top of an evenly pretty dark amber to dark red-purple color. Smell and taste are quite bland, not very flavorful at all other than a malty bitterness. In nothing an IPA imo. Very smooth texture, soft mouthfeel, nearly flat carbonation-wise. Interesting though.

Draught at Vesterbro Ølhus. Nitro creamy, tan-coloured head remaining over an amber coloured body with a slight haze. Rich lacing on the glass. Malt-fruity smell, moments of brown malts and herbal hops. Moderate mid-sweet taste profile of dark dough, caramel and herbal hops. Ends malty-fruity with discreet bitterness. Smooth on the swallow. Average stuff. (Copenhagen 13.05.2018).
