Bamberg jolly day 2. 25/01/2014. Bottle at the brewery. Hazed orange yellow lasting frothy white head. Aroma is orange, clove. Flavour is doughy bread / big clove phenol. Fairly bright flavours. Palate is grainy and doughy.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, malty-yeasty, not too dry, fine fruity like banana, mild sourish hints. Finish well balanced, quite drinkable. Not bad!

Im Antrunk sehr schön frisch, im Hauptteil ist es leicht hefig-muffig, aber insgesamt sehr sehr laff
--> viel zu neutral und langweilig für ein schönes Weizen!!! (Wie hat das einen Gold-Award gewonnen???) Es hat so gut wie keinen Geschmack!!!

Appearance: Cloudy yellow color with a thick white head that leaves a fine lacing.
Aroma: Wheat, banana, fruity and some yeast.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Fresh mild wheat. Banana, yeast and some citirc notes.
Overall impression: Nice tasty Hefe Weisse.

Tap at the 23rd Battersea Beer Festival - 06/02/13, thanks to JF for the pour. Hazed pale golden with a thin white head. Nose is pale malt, lemon, a little vinegar. Taste comprises wheat, yeast esters, citrus, lemon, grain. Medium in body with moderate carbonation lending towards a dryish finish. Average.

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured hazy yellowish with a frohty, long lasting white head. Aroma has banana, yeast and light spiciness. Flavor has banana, pineapple,clove and some spiciness. Light sweet finish. Really tasty hefeweizen!
