Bottle @ home. Opaque pitch black color, medium sized brown head that lasts for a short while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, dark malts, quite roasty. Taste malts, dark malts, roasted malts, roasted malt bitter, dry malt bitter finish. Decent to medium body, medium to firm carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle shared thanks to Puttetjes. Black with light brown head. Lots of licorice and salmiak, roasted malts, earthy, lots of bitter coffee, light sour berries. Just medium sweet and over medium bitter and light salty. Medium bodied. Not bad.

Thanks Ban! Extremely dark brown body, brownish small head. Toasty dark malts dominate the aroma. Nice, vague coffee, lacking in complexity but pleasant. Black patent malt galore, black chocolate and light tartness, roasty as f**k. Some figs. Slightly ashy, the tartness helps the drinkability. Slightly creamy. This is actually quite likable for me. A diamond in the rough.
