So, who actually started this? Who planted the first seed and did they ever imagine a once-bustling metropolis overgrown by their own creation? Controlled hop fields now but a distant memory. The hop vines are trying to overpower and show their dominance in the food chain. The only way to fight back is to brew more beer that contains more hops. This is us doing our part to save humanity. A double dry hopped DIPA, jam packed with massive amounts of lupulin. Bitter, sticky hop love, hitting you in the face with a slap of dankness.

Ingredients: Water, barley malt (Pilsner), wheat malt, flaked oats, hops (Magnum, Mosaic, Ekuanot), Vermont yeast.

33cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours pale gold, pretty hazy, with limited foam. Aroma is highly tropical and peach. Body is fairly dense, with average carbonation. Taste has good bitterness but also a nice sweetness. Finish is average.

From a 330ml can on 23/10/2018. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a small head. Has a slightly dank tropical nose. Flavour wise, it starts out sweet and sticky with lots of apricot and peach, with some caramel and biscuit in the background. This is countered by quite some quite strong resiny hops. While you can tell it packs a punch, it's still goes down rather too easily. The texture is slick and and a bit syrupy, with the carbonation moderate. Yet another very tasty and impressive double IPA collab from this brewery.

Can. A hazy orange-golden colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma is piney and orangey, lightly resiny and with a little touch of pale malts. Really hop driven. It has a nice bitterness, enough to deal with the sweetness, and lots of hoppy flavors. Pine cones, resin, grapefruit, pineapple notes and some notes of grass and pale malts. Full body, smooth carbonation and with a light warming hint. Long fruity finish. Perhaps a bit sweet, but sure a fine one. 180825
