So, who actually started this? Who planted the first seed and did they ever imagine a once-bustling metropolis overgrown by their own creation? Controlled hop fields now but a distant memory. The hop vines are trying to overpower and show their dominance in the food chain. The only way to fight back is to brew more beer that contains more hops. This is us doing our part to save humanity. A double dry hopped DIPA, jam packed with massive amounts of lupulin. Bitter, sticky hop love, hitting you in the face with a slap of dankness.

Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Pineapple. citrus, gooseberry in the nose, a bit juicy. Medium-bodied. Gooseberry, pineapple, pine in the flavour. Juicy, good drinkability.

33cl can. Vasa tasting 2018.Slightly golden color with a thin white head.Pineapples up front, fruity hops. chewy mouthfeel, juicy hops, sweet fruits and grapefruit. Shows signs of age but quite drinkable. Full bodied.

Can at home. Straight from the can. Sweet malts, light caramel, boosted pineapple, mango, oaty creamy, very grassy and resiny, hop oil concentrate. Sweet and moderate bitter. Can split at Leighton's 20K, thanks to Kenny, 01/03/17. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel, weed, light spice, sticky trops, grass. Taste comprises toasted malts, pine needle, peach, orange pith, grapefruit, melon, toasted breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced light dank hop bitterness. Ok DIPA.

(Draught at BrewDog Kungsholmen, Stockholm, 2 Sep 2017) Hazy golden yellow colour with frothy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of resin, grapefruit, pine needles and pineapple. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, white bread and a finish with a generous citric bitterness and a slight alcohol bite. Almost full body, with a touch of sweetness. Possibly a bit one-dimensional, but tasty with a generous hop character. Nice one.

Draught at SKAAL. Hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grasses, caramel malts, tropical fruits, peaches and a lightly toasted note. Taste is bitter. Full body with an oliy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with citrus fruits, grasses and tropical fruits. Nice rich IIPA.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of oranges, lemons, hops, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, hops, spices, and over ripe fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Draught @ Fermentoren Aarhus, Nørregade 24, DK-8000 Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Amundsen Hoptropolis ].Hazy matt medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, fruity hops, cheese. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dried fruit, old hops, sweet malt, fruity hops, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
