750ml wired cork bottle. Opened with a pop. Pale yellow colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity pear, fleshy, woody, core, alittle funk. Taste is sweetish, perry pear, fruity, juicy, some flesh and core, with light funk, syrupy, woody, tangy and soft tannin. Medium bodied, slightly spritzy carbonation, medium-sweet musty pear finish. Nicely drinkable.

Picked up at Three Counties Cider Shop, Ledbury. Consumed at home on Loz’s birthday Saturday 14th November 2015. Quite eggy on the nose with a little woodsmoke, a most interesting aroma. Reasonably clear but there are a few tiny little stringy bits in suspension (pear bits I guess) Nice just right carbonation, lovely curly tanginess, fruity and juicy a little papery dry feel at the end, the pear is good. Really nice Herefordshire Perry from a producer that thus far had passed me by. A7 A4 T7 P3 Ov16 3.7
