Coconut Imp. Stout, brewed with vanilla, maple and coconut to create a bounty bar explosion in a beer. This is a humongous chocolatey stout with tons of character from massive amounts of chocolate and toasted malts to back up the generous amount of toasted coconut and finished off with a bit of vanilla and maple syrup. Of course its more of a dessert than a beer, why not? craft beer is dead. We killed it with vanilla!

33cl can from Sip, Tallinn. Pours dark like used motor oil with a modest, beige head. Almost intense coconutty aroma with roasty notes, dark chocolate and hints of dark fruits. Sweet, smooth and very well balanced. Quite delicious.

On tap at Eric the Red Level 0. Almost black. Opaque. Small tan head. Nose: thick dark malts, coconut, roasted barley, chocolate, dried fruit. Full body. Taste follows the aroma. Just the right amount of coconut. Perfect balance. Powerful indeed.

Svart med lavt lys brunt skum. Lukter kokos, lett brent lønnesirup og noe vanilje. Fyldig-. Smaker tydelig kokos, noe salt lakris, søt lønnesirup og melasse. Godt skjult alkohol. Middels lang.

(330ml can from boxbeers.dk) Pours black with a tight pale brown head. Aroma is massive toasted coconut, candy bar chocolate, vanilla undertone too, there are kisses of maple sugar and some slightly toasty malt and brown sugar at the core supporting the adjuncts. Flavour is quite sweet up front, lots of toasted coconut and candy chocolate, a bit of batter quality like a chocolate macaroon. Moderate maple presence, vanilla somewhat overwhelmed by coconut. Hints of licorice mid-sip. Finishes semi-dry with coconut, lightly toasty dark malts, cacao, light hop bitterness and a little hint of alcohol. Medium bodied and slick with soft carbonation. Less boozy than other recent Lervig stouts. Shameless pastry, but rather tasty pastry as well, especially if you like coconut.

On draught in Dublin. Beautiful sweet maple and coconut with chocolate aroma. Pours deep brown with quickly fading brown head. Taste is great coconut on the front palate, develops a licorice aspect in the middle that is not good, and then recovers well with chocolate and tongue coating warmth.
