vanilla, and freshly roasted coffee with a deeply, rich cocoa coating for the entire mouth. Some say that we’re all born into sin, so we may as well taste the forbidden fruit while we’re here.

Can picked up from CraftbeerFreak, Bischofsmais and consumed at home Tuesday 29th August 2023 after a day of decorating. We had Spaghetti Carbonara for tea, we're now listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant with their New Music Fix Show on 6Music. Pours black with a tan head. Thickness in the mouth, very chocolatey, smooth, creamy and really rich, quite indulgent. Cannot believe that I have not had this, it's an excellent Impy Stout.

Not the L6 bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts, nice coconut. Good boozy bourbon rich fruits. Smooth spicy finish, dark chocolate Malteasers and coconut. Nice. Best of the Lervigs so far tonight.

deep dark brown colour, large, dense brown head; aroma of chocolate, vanilla, dairy cream and some hazelnut notes; taste is exactly the same with some spicy peppery notes; great imperial stout

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, rough, brownish head. Sweet and very chocolatey nose. Rich and sweet - very sweet - roastiness again with massive chocolate notes and even more massive vanilla. Really fat with a potent, boozy finish. The overwhelming sweetness is a real challenge. But a ig beer indeed. 270323

33cl can. Vasa tasting. Poured near black in color. Chocolate bars, sweetness and some hazelnuts. Pretty strong nutty notes really.

Can 330ml (Vinmonopolet, Vasa Sessions)
Opaque colour, tiny brownish head. Marabou milk chocolate in the nose. Full-bodied. Chocolate, cocoa, milk chocolate in the flavour. Quite sweet.

Tap at 100 piv. Full body, medium carbonation. Med-high sweetness initially, over time overtaken but high bitterness, seems like a hoppy-roasted-cocoa combo in equal parts. Medium vanilla, lots of cocoa, med-light deep roast. Medium fruitiness, forest berries. Also moderate alcohol burn, this one is not shy at all, but the strength of flavour just about supports the warmth. Could use more complexity and mellowing of the burning booziness. Overall good but not great.
