Naturalist is a New England-style IPA.

Using our house yeast that specialises in stone fruit esters, this beer’s got big thick body and tropical vibe top notes.

Azacca hops in the whirlpool and a huge Bru-1, Ekuanot and Sabro combo in the dry hop give it a fruity swagger.

Goes well with thick trunks and deep roots.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from HOTM. Pours cloudy yellow-gold with a thin, foamy white head. Medium sweet flavour with lightly crackery pale malts, ripe lemon, some white grape, melon, tangerine, soft rindy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Decently sweet finish, more relaxed citrus fruits, white grape, bready pale malts. Easygoing and drinkable.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 6.5%. Cloudy pale yellow colour, moderate to small white head, coarse texture. Very nice aroma of spruce, pine and citrus, hints of tropical fruits and newmown grass. Juicy flavour of citrus, tropical fruits and pine needles, some malty sweetness. Good beer.
