Old Salt sits on the crooked bench at tavern, smokes his old pipe, sniffs his glass and makes big gulp. And immediately he is engulfed by splashes of the waves, sea-gulls cries, sailors voices, whisper of sand of the unknown islands, he sees strained sails and feels hot kisses of beauties of faraway ports among salty touches of the ocean. Gradually illusion fades away. One more glass of “Captain Salt”, please. Think of it as of your very personal sea in the glass. WBA 2018 - Country Winner

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7. Veldig lys gylden. Middels høyt tett skum. Teppelacing. Aroma av vanilje & plommer. Smaken det samme. Kunstig.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Yoav's place. Cloudy yellow. A bit of oxidation, a bit of lacto, slightly sourish, slightly sweetish, slightly salty, a bit of fruitiness.

Yellow colored, hazy, medium to light white head, not too lasting. Some malty notes, light grain, medium- salty, minerals, some lemony notes, moderate sourness, dry finish. Medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, bit watery. Pretty clean, good.

A truly salt gose, still seems to be hop aroma forward, and quite citrusy. But very little sourness. Varvar Odessa

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a grayish golden with a small, white head. Interesting fruity nose. Light body, yet a little syrupy, a slight tartness and salinity - yet an odd cardboard tang is quite dominant and spoils the fun quite a bit. An odd bird. 060612

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Nose is loaded with salt and coriander upfront, with some soft wheaty notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with citrus, salt, and coriander. Lightly tart, with a spicy, coriander-like finish. Decent gose.
