Sharp as blade of katana ginger. White as face of a beauty rice. Light as spring breeze touch of hops. All of them has been tied together as ancient scroll guarded by fire-breathing dragons commands. Well, ok, there were no dragons, the scroll is not that ancient, but we even haven’t released this oriental ale for a sakura-bloom season. It would be too much of a cliche, and we definitely don’t want that. It’s light, crisp, somewhat reserved, and mysterious as all Eastern cultures. Bronze at International Beer Challenge 2018

330ml bottle. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of pale malts, mild ginger, citrus. Taste of pale malts, ginger, zesty citrus, lime, light bitterness. Nice.

Bright clear gold beer, small off white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin malts but clean and sweet enough for this brew. Light fruity ginger, never gets hot. Light crisp pine. Background note of floral fruits, edging towards perfumery. Light dry finish. Tidy spiced beer. Clean and easy drinking, would go well with a rich Ruby Murray or maybe a Thai.

8/9/2022. Bottle shared by Matt, cheers. Pours very pale bubbly golden with minimal head. Aroma is ginger ale, light citrus, lime and herb with a rice water edge. Fairly sweet with very light ginger warmth. Moderate body, oily and watery, fizzy. Quite okay.

330ml bottle Sophie's Beer Store. Misty pale yellow appearance, medium white head. Nice floral ginger aroma, prominent spicy ginger coming through to taste, crisp palate. Pretty good.

Mein erster Gedanke bei diesem Bier war: Was ersteht man unter einem oriental ale? Beim ersten Schluck kommt auch schon eine Erklärung: Ein leichtes Bier, das mit Ingwer verfeinert wurde. Gut, das wäre damit geklärt. Es hat auf jeden Fall interessante Aromen und einen lustigen Abgang. Einzig an der Geschmackstiefe fehlt es mir. Durchaus cool, aber aromentechnisch gibts feinere.

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Stable white head to a clear late straw coloured body. fair lacing. Ginger spiced smell, hints of lemon. Moderate taste of lemon and lime spiced with ginger. Ginger-fruity end. So and so. (PivotekaH7 session with Finn and djoeye, Tromsø 22.09.2020).

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7. Gyldengul. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Ingefæraroma. Smaken ingefær & sitron. Uvariert.

Hazy, golden colored, small white head. Some ginger, plenty of rice, moderate spicy, bit fruity berry and grape like, light to medium bitterness, dryish finish. Light bodied, soft carbonation, watery.
