Bottle, 4%. Citric aroma, sweet apple notes. Clear dark golden colour. The flavour has the usual sweet apple notes that is common in French cider. Sweet but pleasant.

Bottled (2007 vintage). Hazy deep goldeny orange colour with no head. Aroma is green apples, some wood as well as earthy and herbal. Flavour is quite muh the same with some slight acidicness and some slight strange sweetish notes lurking in the background.

2005 Bottle. Pours with a small, light white head covering a clear golden body. Some plastic and bitter granny apples in the aroma. Taste is a bit musty apple, and light barnyard in the finish. Pleasantly light levels of carbonation, slightly dry and sour (puckering) mouthfeel.

Corked bottle, from La Grande Epicerie (Le Bon Marché), Paris
Hazy golden color. Nice aroma of mature apples, light esters and vinegar, light almonds. Good body structure, due to the residual sugars too; good flavor of apple juice, woody, tannic, a bit astringent and with a very light sourness. Balanced and complex. Very good.

Bottled. A hazy golden cider. The aroma is sweet with notes of apples and wood, andd so is the flavor, leading to a dry tart finish.

Buttery and quite phenolic aroma. Clear amber color. Apple flavor, decently sweet and tart. Musty and phenolic underneath. Bandaid finish. As low as this rating is, it is the best thing I’ve had so far from Eric Bordelet.
