BA Hopocrisy has been in barrel for 18 months. Time has allowed for the floral hop character to subside to the full force of our house yeast. The result is a fun, fruity sour.

330ml bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Tromsdalen. Bright pale yellow body, patchy surface, spotty lacing. Quite inviting smell of grass and farmyard. Moderate taste profile of grassy hops added by yeasty fruitiness, mid-tart- Woody. Herbal dry ending. Pretty alright. (Tromsø 28.07.2020).

Drukket på Lillehøgda. Gusjegråbrun. Lavt tett skum som blir film. Tynn lacing. Aroma av syrlig frukt. Smaken nesten som et surøl. Hint av frukt underveis. Tørr, syrlig avslutning.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - pale yellow, small but attractive head. Nose - dank cellar, lemon custard. Taste - sour chewing a damp floorboard. Palate - Overall - challenging, and possibly worth the persistence.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours clear pale yellow golden with a thin white head. Aromas of dank cellar, floral notes, lemon. Taste is sherbet, more lemon. Funky, but no real barrel to speak of.

Keg at Six D Aberdeen. It pours clear pale golden with a decent white head. The aroma is musty, juicy, tangy, pear, apple, melon, vanilla, oak and some sour candy. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, tart, kick of acidity, minerality, musty, funky, grapefruit peel, pomelo, sherbet, sour candy, rich barnyard and some mouldy cheese with a dry, funky finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good depth. Fun stuff.
