Poured from a can at Jernteppet Ølfestival, first day. Diminishing off-white head to a near-black body. Scattered lacing. Inviting smell of cocoa powder, nicely roasted. Quite similar taste profile of cocoa powder followed by roasted coffee notes towards the ending. Rounded mouth feel. Like it. (Hammerfest 16.08.2019).

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, lactose and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long lactose, chocolate and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Can. It pours a very dark brown body under a finger-thick beige head. The aroma is mostly roasted, with some coffee and toast. A bit too weak I think. It's medium bodied, soft and a bit low on carbonation. Quite dry, with a roasted malts kind of bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, some dark chocolate and a vague hint of licorice. Long finish. A quite pleasant one, although a bit one dimensional. 190406
