Fruchtig, fruchtiger, Affenkönig. Der große Bruder des Hopfenauflaufs kommt mit einer royalen Hopfenintensität daher. Grapefruit, Maracuja, Zitrusnoten.
Der Malzkörper balanciert die Hopfenbittere, welche einen fruchtig-herben Abgang bereitet und Lust auf mehr macht. Aber Vorsicht! Bei 8,2 vol% sollte man noble Bescheidenheit an den Tag legen, sonst macht man sich zum Affen!

Best before 11/24, buying it at the Frastanz brewery shop, in august 2024. Tasting this bottlw yesterday, at home, good one, rich imperial ipa, warm, malty, smooth, fruity, note of apricot, classical and floral bitterness, medium body.

Small if dense & persistent just off-white head over hazy, well-carbonated orange beer. Slight oxydation, grains & toasted malts, lupulin, rosewater, cookie malts. Bitterish-herbal, again toast with a good deal of restsugars but finish keeps a resiny, slightly harsh bitter. Very slick, oily, even creamy feel. Well-carbonated; at least medium bodied. Oxydation more than probably from the ingredients, sample very fresh. All in all, certainly OK. Txs to Stef!

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a medium sized, dense, lacing off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma, quite grassy and green in the nose. Flavor is fresh and fruity, quite bitter, grassy, sweet malt, hint of caramel, grapefruit and pine. Fine balanced body, long lasting bitter aftertaste. A nice IMP IPA that actually tastes less one dimensional than it seems from this rating. Fine balance between sweetness, bitterness and alcohol.

Bottle at Billabong, Wien. Aroma of fruits, citrus, orange, tangerine, sweetish malt, caramel, pine resin, hops. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a long medium to heavy bitter finish. Body is thick and full. Very tasty orange caramel piney IIPA, well crafted.

0.33 bottle. The monkey king of the brewery Let's see. Deep golden color, good big hard white head. Basic, slightly citrusy, hoppy apa aroma with a little caramel malt and yeast. Very full-bodied, with serious content, a lot of malt, which is also shown by the alcohol content. Sweet-bitter, serious imperial apa. The bitterness here is really there, not a little. Strong, the alcohol is also felt. Syrupy, full-bodied, sippable, all-night beer. Nice work.

A fözde majom-királya Lássuk. Mély arany szín, jó nagy kemény fehér hab. Alap, kissé citrusos, komlós ipa illat egy kis karamell malátával és élesztővel. Igencsak testes, komoly beltartalommal, sok malátával, amit mutat az alkohol tartalom is. Édes-keserű komoly imperial ipa. A keserű itt tényleg az, nem is kicsit. Erős, az alkohol is érződik rajta. Szirupos, testes, kortyolgatós, egész estés sör. Szép munka.
