Fruchtig, fruchtiger, Affenkönig. Der große Bruder des Hopfenauflaufs kommt mit einer royalen Hopfenintensität daher. Grapefruit, Maracuja, Zitrusnoten.
Der Malzkörper balanciert die Hopfenbittere, welche einen fruchtig-herben Abgang bereitet und Lust auf mehr macht. Aber Vorsicht! Bei 8,2 vol% sollte man noble Bescheidenheit an den Tag legen, sonst macht man sich zum Affen!

Bottle. Hazy full golden body, creamy white head. Aroma, malt-forward... at first and then some... chicken? Some strange note anyway, seems slightly old, though looking at the date, it should be either fresh or laughably old. Some alcohol and vague herbal hops and maybe perfumey . Eh. Creamy taste, again some umami and fruity/herbal touches, old and too dry. Huh. Wanna try this fresh.

F: big, bit tan, good retention. C: orange gold, bit hazy. A: tangerine, orange, tropical fruits, pine resin, caramel. T: malty backbone, tangerine, grapefruits, tropical fruits, caramel, biscuits, medium to full body, medium carbonation, long hoppy bitter finish, very good balanced, fully enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Spar in Vienna.

Pours hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, orange, grapefruit, alcohol and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, caramel, grapefruit, orange, citrus and piney finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle shared at the Columbus tasting, 25/07/2018. Many thanks. A light hazed golden orange colourd pour with a loose white head. Aroma is earthy wheat, orange rind, light earthy. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy, orange rind, toffee, , pine. Palate si semi of semi sweet, moderate carboantion. ok.

Bottle at DS. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, apricot, peach, nectarine, bubblegum, sponge cake, honey and pink marshmallow. The taste is dry, crisp, bitter, soapy citrus, orange peel, tangerine, honey blossom, caramel, doughy bread and sponge cake with a tangerine booze finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit muddled. Fair.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear gold with a small, foamy white head. Ripe citrus nose, pale bread, spicy pine. Medium sweet flavour, ripe citrus, white grapes, melon, pale bread. Medium bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, lightly resinous. So so.

Nagy, örökké tartó hab, félbarna szín. Fűszeres, citrushéjas illat. Citrushéjas, citrusos, ananászos, fűszeres ízek. Enyhén édeskés, közepesen testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Finom, jól összerakott sör.
