Diese feinaromatische Bierspezialität entstand nach einem Rezept der Gebrüder Deinlein von 1898. In jener guten alten Zeit, in der Arbeit schwer, Bier dunkel und das Leben ein klein wenig langsamer war. Der dunkle Farbton mit einem zarten Schimmer rührt von verschiedenen Malzen und der traditionellen Herstellung her. Vollmundige Aromen, eine unterstreichende und dezente Bittere und ein vollmundiger Nachtrunk machen dieses Bier zu einem echten Erlebnis.

Dark amber with a thin, frothy head. Aroma of ashes, chocolate, berries. Taste is moderate caramel sweet, accompanied by a roasted bitter tone that picks up at the end. Lingering caramel. Faint fruitiness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent Dunkles.

Bottle courtesy of Jonas cheers Jonas! consumed at home Saturday 2nd November 2019 listening to Warmduscher - Tainted Lunch and cooking the Indian Shepherds Pie that we made last night. Pours dark brown with an off white head. In the mouth, soft, malty but with an enduring dark sugar sweetness. It's ok but not going to live long in the memory.
