Bottle from Waitrose, West Byfleet. Aroma is flowery with a resinous streak. Hazy amber-orange. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Resinous. Underlying citrus sourness that results in a real tangyness when combined with the resin. Add spice to the mix. And a malty biscuitness into the finish. Light bodied. Slick if thin. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Having not got around to buying a bottle of this despite (and because of) the fact that it's available on at my nearest supermarket, I really like this. Just hits the spot, albeit quite possibly too cold straight out of the fridge.

Keg at Hopsmiths. Resin hoppy, malty finish. Little bit of biscuit. Alright, but lacks something. Bit of caramel. It's alright. --- Beer merged from original tick of Uprising Treason West Coast IPA (Keg & Can) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. 330ml can bought at Britannia Inn (JDW). A decent pearl white head to a hazy orange-gold body. Good lacing. Inviting aroma of mid-dry citrus. Hop fruity taste of orange, peach, and pine. Fruity bitter ending. Medium bodied. Thick creamy white head stayed on an unclear sandy coloured body. Malt, hops & grape aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue & sharp on the back with a clean aft. Hopped up tastes with grapefruit, underripe peach, zest & long bitter finish.

Bottle from Waitrose. Amber in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of marmalade, leafy hops and some white pepper. Flavour was sweet, with plenty more orange fruit, solid malts and a dryish finish. Fine.

Pours slightly hazy, dirty orange, topped with a thinner, though creamy white head. Mild fruity nose, sweet peaches, tropical fruits and some citruses. Slight sweetness in the start, more than moderate hoppy bitterness, slight biscuity back. Lasting aftertaste. Medium body. A bit shy on the nose, but decent and proper modern IPA.
