A bold, uncompromising beer, packed with hops at 4 different stages in the brewing process. Imperial and Munich malts give the beer enough body to try and tame the hop aromas jumping out of the glass. TREASON is a favourite with beer lovers, writers and judges and has won an amazing 8 gold medals in national and international competitions.

Golden colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a strong resinous hop element. Also a touch of grapefruit and pineapple.

A pure pleasure to drink.
Unclear golden color with a fine white head. Looks nice. Fine intensity in the aroma, with a fine hop profile. Medium (+) body and smooth carbonation. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric/grapefruit hoppy, pine and fruity flavor. Crisp and semi dry texture.

330ml bottle from a Waitrose store in Peterborough. Shared with Finn on a train to Leicester. Frothy off-white head, lacing rings down the glass. Unclear amber-gold body. Toasted hops on the nose. Taste of orange, bread and dough. Rounded ending, bittersweet. Quite alright. (11.02.2019).

9th Sep 2016: can in Layton Rake (Wetherspoons), Blackpool. Like it’s slightly stronger bottled brother this can hold it’s own against some of the harshly bittered ’West Coast’ IPA’s coming out of California. Amber bodied with a thin white head it oozes hops from start to finish, malts in the background but playing their part too. --- Beer merged from original tick of Treason on 06 Mar 2022 at 15:54 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Original review text: 440ml can; BBD 23rd July 2022. Drank at home on 6th March 2022. Hazy orange body, full, deep, soft foaming head. Fruity nose and taste with a hop bitter backbone, decent.
