Bottle at Superstition, pours a clear blonde, no head. Aroma has a strange perfumey and floral character from the hops, followed by grapefruit zest and subdued honey. Flavour is much better than it smells, with lots of sweet honey, grapefruit zest, and loads of floral hops. I still don't really care for hops in mead but this is done pretty well.
Lots of grapefruit for sure! Tangy finish, good weekend brunch vibes.
Obligatory update with Annie pic.

Pours a fairly unclear, white-wine pale yellow. Scent is surprising. Citrussy, mostly due to hoparoma, but also the grapefruit gives a boost, obviously. very lemonaid like. Taste is fairly sweet, thick, great honey base, intense yet gentle, soft, and loving. the citrussy back, with even a mild bitter touch elegantly make way for the grapefruit, that is finally overtaken by the honey. The late aftertaste has straight up grapefruit. not my favorite set of flavors to go together, but impressive how the flavors work their way trough the experience and give way to one another.
