From old tasting notes. Translucent reddish brown color. Tan head that dissapates quickly. Intense smoky, sweet roasted malt nose. Full roasted malt flavor is sweet at first, the becoming tangy, then bitter in finish. Long bittersweet aftertaste.very big and full-bodied with a chewy mouthfeel.

Draft @ Gummibaren, Drammen.

Bottle from Rune and Finn (thank you!) passed on at the NWAF, Derby, Friday, 19th February 2016 shared at dad’s house, Kilburn, Derbyshire. Pours reddy amber with a white/off-white head, slightly sour on the nose. Some toffee, fruity with some berries, it’s a busy carbonation, tangy but also a bit sour in the mouth, not sure if this is intentional and yet I don’t mind it, but it certainly moves this away from a traditional Bock. Yes it is quite gassy, it’s fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Rated from old notes. Pours with an airy creamy head. Fruity, sweet and full with an appropriate alcohol presence. Mildly bitter. Nice.

Nice looking tall 0,33 l bottle bought at Grüne Woche 2015, Berlin. Pours out dark red brown with a one finger light tanned head. Malt, berriefruits and choco on the nose. Taste starts smooth malty with coffie, berriefuits, sweet, alcoholic hints. Little bit dry ending. A nice no. 700 for me.

Bottle at home. Has a clear deep reddish brown colour with a beige and medium head. The aroma contains a lot of dried fruit, plums and oak. The flavour is sweet with the addition of cocoa and brown sugar. Has a light and slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A nice and well balanced bock.
