Bue à la maison, achetée chez Super U en Alsace. Jolie robe ambrée limpide, mousse beige fine mais qui s’est vite faite la malle. Nez très sympa, vraiment engageant : biscuit et fruits tropicaux, ça sentait super bon. En bouche, ça retombe un peu. Le profil est assez neutre, avec une amertume présente mais pas marquante, un peu de fruit, un fond malté... mais rien qui claque vraiment. C’est propre, mais ça manque de caractère pour une IPA. Le nez promettait un feu d’artifice, et au final, c’est plus une petite étincelle.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a small, rough, beige head. Biscuity, toffeeish aroma - not much hops to be detected though. Medium body, again biscuit and toffee but only with a faint sweetness. And then comes a long and brutal finishing bitterness. This is all above the IBUs - no sense of hop aromatics at all. 180225

Ambar muy densa y llena de sedimento. Espuma muy abundante. Aroma dulce, frutal, ciruela y caramelo. En boca es agradable, de sabor equilibrado, manteniendo el aroma. Ciruela, pera caramelo. Contrapunto ligeramente amargo y especiado. Sabrosa.

330ml. bottle. @home, 26/04/2023 [#6.076 Global - #75 France - #1 Brasserie 3 Mats (My French Brewery #35)] Pours deep golden with a medium and diminishing white head. Aroma: mild lemon rind, grapefruit and rye malts. Taste: dough, drièd fruits and mild citrus. Bit plain and oxidized. Next one please!

Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with a moderate off-white frothy head od good retention. Aroma: Lemon, orange, herbs, pale malt, resin. Taste: Pretty dry. Herbal. Additional citrus fruits, resin, pine needles. Moderate ending bitterness. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: OK.

Bottle shared as 4% abv. Slight hazy golden with big cream colored head. Flowery hops, light spicy bread, sweet caramel, dried mango, dried dusty herbs, sweet apricot. Light sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. Pleasant beer.

Les Thons. Final bottle thanks to Maakun. Hazy golden with white head. Sweet malts, rye, exotic fruitiness, dry grass. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
