0.5l bottle. Hazy yellow body with a huge white head that doesn't last that long. Bread, grains, hay and lemon zest in the aroma with some floral hops. The taste isn't so fruity either, bready and grainy malts dominate with lemon zest, sugar syrup and some floral hops again. Not much from the usual banana or cloves here, it's more bready and lemony. To be honest I prefer the fruitier weizens.

Hell hefiger, minimal säuerlicher Antrunk. Geringe Karbonisierung, die Hefigkeit fällt schnell auf fast 0 zurück. Spritzig, etwas monoton. Meh. 9/7/8/7/10/7

Bottle. Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is mineralic, apples. Taste is apples, buttery, mineralic. Silky mouthfeel. Hardly a Weizen, but quite drinkable and nice!

Bottle. Milky orange-yellow, offwhite cream. Fat whipped cream, grainy. Medium mellow, chewy. Ok wheaty, dry, light spice. A bit farty.

Hazy golden with medium white head. Aroma is green stuff, some berries, some wheat and sugar. Taste is yeasty sourness with lots of carbonation and some crispy stuff. Same in the finish. Ok.

Bottle at home. Very murky ochre with big strong head. Sweet caramel malts, sugar, grain, very light banana. Under medium sweet, licht bitter. Over medium body, soft and low carbonation. Very malty thick and a bit sweet. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kloster-Urweiße on 18 Dec 2017 at 12:55 - Score: 6. Original review text: 2.9

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo o malej piance jak na pszeniczne. Zapach starych lan zboz, pszenicy, snopkow w polu. Metne mocno kolor morelowy z osadem prawie brazowy. Smak bananowo jablkowy, lekko kwaskowaty zero cukru i slodowosc srednia. Ogolnie dobre choc spodziewalem sie wiekszych rewelacji

Golden color with a frothy white head with good retention. Aroma is light malty with some citrus hints. Flavor is slightly fruity with high carbonation. Plane final. Quite far away from a German Hefeweizen.

One of those classic Bavarian Hefeweizens, from a ’Klosterbrauerei’. Soft and fruity character, fluffy, yellowish white head, warm orangey peach blonde colour; fresh sourish wheat touch, subdued fruitiness of apple and banana, creamy mouthfeel. Good for its style but not the best.
