Bottle at home. Three year old bottle (2019). Pours a very dark brown to black colour with a small khaki head. Aroma of roasted malt, bourbon, licorice, oak, tobacco, chocolate truffles and coffee. Flavour of coffee, roasted malt, ash, leather, bourbon and some warming alcohol in the end. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a soft coffee bitterness. Rich and tasteful, and a near perfect combination of bourbon and imperial stout.

Solid bitterhet uten at det går ut over balansen (min). Imperial indeed!

Black with a brown head - Dark malt with some wood barrel in the aroma - Dark malt aroma with some roasted notes and some nice wood barel flavours and there is some bitterness as well - The dark malt with wood goes into the finish with some bitterness that lasts - This was good

330 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Jørpeland. ABV is 12.0%. Pitch black colour, moderate creamy tan head. Aroma of dark malts, bourbon and oak, a hint of liquorice and honey. Smooth flavour with the same elements as the aroma. Noticeable bittering hops, also a hint of prunes.
