Black with a minimal light brown head. Aroma of wooden barrels, dried fruits and spices. Sweet with a warm wooden barrels and dried fruit Finnish. Full bodied, a bit oily. First Christmas beer this season. Bb 09.2023, #1234

Not hard to detect that this one has been stored on bourbon barrels. Pleasant bourbon touch in the aroma Quite good intensity Quite balanced and ok sweetness for a beer like this Mellow fine carbonation level. Very easy to drink Good complexity in the flavor Dark malt, chocolate, bourbon and licorice Not to boozy with it`s 12 horse power [Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Halden, Norway]

Bottle. A close to black one, with a small light tan head. Some lacing. Roasted malts, dark dried fruits, wood, coffee, pepper hints, some booze, a touch of herbs and some sour hints in the aroma. Cocoa, dark chocolate and dark dried fruits in the flavor. Hints of chili, wood and there's also some peppery hints. Full body and a nice carbonation, dry yet sweet, with a lasting finish. 330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum, Tromsø. The oily pour reveals a near-black body, a dissipating fawn-coloured head and some dotted spots on the glassware. Roasted dark malty nose, mid-sweet, with a gentle bourbon twist. Blended taste of chocolate, mid-sweet heather, and oak vanilla on a backbone of bourbon. Lingering bourbon-malty ending, noticeable alcohol. Decent slow Yuletide sipper that does not taste that strong. (Tromsø 22.12.2019).

Svart. Høyt lysebrunt skum. Daler veldig sakte. Litt lacing. Aroma av bourbon & lakris. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken innholdsrik. Sjokolade. Kakao. Sherry. Nøtter. Alkoholen merkes med en varmende effekt. Utmerket øl.

Bottle at home. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of plums, licorice, umami, roasted malt, dark chocolate, some ethanol. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, distinct alcoholic warmth and sharpness. Fruity finish.
