Bryggeri Helles is a very pale and mildly hopped beer is brewed with traditional methods. The beautiful straw color comes from floor malted Czech spring barley and aromatic German Saphir hops feature refined citrus notes of tangerine. A lager brewed with pure ingredients by skilled brewers is perfect match to Finnish dishes.

Draught@Bryggeri Helsinki, Helsinki. Golden colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is grassy, herbal, floral and some mild bready tones. Flavour is bready, floral, grassy and earthy tones with some mild grains to it as well. Smooth and very nicely balanced with a nice crispness to it too.

330ml bottle kindly shared by djoeye. Filmy layer to a clear golden body, clingy lacing. Vague mid-sweet grainy malts on the nose. Has got stewed fruity taste and ends rather sweet. Average stuff. (Session with lmojoh, Finn and djoeye, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 03.12.2019).

Spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham, lmojoh og Rune i H7. Lys gylden. Filmskum. Druearoma. Smaken plommer. Behagelig. Søt, tørr avslutning.

Tap at SOPP2019, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some sweetness, grain and malts.

Tap @ SOPP Hki 2019. Smell of malt. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malt, grain, grass. Medium bitter, lively, plentiful carbon. Pretty balanced, slightly earthy flavours.

33cl bottle @home. Poured golden color, clear. White head. Aroma was mild grassy and malty with some grain.. Grassy flavors, dry finish. Light to medium bodied.

Bottled 330ml (batch 801)
Golden colour, small white head. Light grassy and grainy aroma. Light-bodied. Barley, grass, grain and touch of citrus in the flavour. Light palate. Not very exiciting as a Helles.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch 801 - BBE 11/2020, at Bryggeri Helsinki, 20190625) The beer poured golden and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium. Flavours were grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, bitter and lightly malty. A tasty helles.
