Lightly coloured easy drinking pale ale with a hit of hops - all the hoppiness without the alcohol, a true session ale. Brewed to commemorate the voyage of the Mayflower with the Pilgrim Fathers to America in 1620, a journey that started in Rotherhithe, not Plymouth!

Cask at Smithfield, Derby Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Both malt and hops in the nose with hints of citrus. In the mouth the hop character is more pronounced, and quite a lot of citrus (but not too much), traces of lemongrass and allspice. Finish is bitter with citrus. Nicely balanced and pleasant to drink.

Cask, third, shared with Finn at Southwark Brewing Company. Covering white head. Cloudy golden body, spotty lacing. Grapefruit on the nose, inviting. Fresh fruity taste of citrus and tropical fruits. Hints of fruity bitterness to a short lived end. Decent session qualities. (Bermondsey, London 19.10.2019).
