A medium dry, copper coloured ale with a biscuit and caramel maltiness. Kentish Golding, Challenger and Fuggles hops provide a robust hoppy finish.

Cask. Appearance is a light amber, hardly any head at all, just a few white bubbles. Aroma- malty, bready, hint of lemon, hops, slight caramel. Taste- smooth, lots of bitterness, hops, spice hints, bit of toffee, slight citrus. Quite good, but let down a bit by a thin mouthfeel- a bit watery.

Cask gravity at Flower Pot Maidstone. Copper orange colour wiyh lasting beige head. Slight fart yeast on aroma. Lovely and rich in the mouth but with still a touch of sulphur throughout. Some pear fruit and some grassy hop on end with a touch of hop bite on finish. Tasty.
