Bottled (Thanks Arne M!). Close to black colour with a beigeish brown head. Aroma is dark chocolate, some vanilla, roated malts and toffee. Flavour is chocolate, toffee, some bitterness along with mild herbal elements.

Bottle. Dark brown, almost black body under a small beige head. Aroma is mild roasted dark malt with some chocolate. Taste is sweet, mild roasted dark malt and some chocolate. Not super exiting, but decent with no faults. Might expect some more chokolate flavor from a chokolate stout.

Bottle. A clear dark brown beer with a finger-thick beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, nuts, toffee, dark chocolate and some dark bread. It’s full-bodied, smooth and quite dry on the palate, with a good bitterness. Mostly the dark malt kind of bitterness. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma, roasted malts, nuts, toffee and dark chocolate. Lasting roasted malts finish. Quite decent this one. 201127

330 ml bottle, Lot #189, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Black colour, moderate to small beige head. Aroma of roast malts and chocolate, also coffee, a hint of liquorice. The flavour has roast malts, coffee, liquorice and dark chocolate, a salty hint of seaweed. Distinct bittering hops in the finish.

Svart med beige skum. Mineralsk lukt, kakaopulver og noe nøtter. Middels fylde. Smaker nøtter, havre og mørk sjokolade. Middels lang.

0,33 flaske fra helsekosten på Kvaddå, hjemme en fredagskveld: brunsvart med fint skum som holder følge helt til siste dråpe. Lys sjokolade, cappuccino (uten kanel), mild humlebitterhet og delikat ettersmak. Salt kjenner jeg ikke noe av. Slank, myk og innsmigrende forkjæler den ganen.
