330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.2%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, prunes, raisins, caramel, vanilla, chocolate and molasses. Smooth flavour, moderately roast malts with fruity notes of prunes, blackcurrants and plums. a hint of liquorice and coffee, moderate hops.

Endelig er det nytt år og sesongstart på Mi2 Cardinal 14.01.19, og etter noen riktig gode fatøl er vi nærmer oss slutten på kveldens program. Brunsvart med fint, storboblet skum som varer. Mørke bær, overmoden citrus, lakris og espresso i en blass og uinteressant kombinasjon. Lite her som minner om de gode, baltiske porterne. 0,33 flaske.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours dark brown with beige head. Aroma of caramel, coffee, malt, some fruity notes. Tastes slightly sweet with some bitterness. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, beige head. Aroma: Roasted malt, dark red fruit, chocolate hints. Taste: Over medium sweet, malty. Roasted malt, notes of chocolate, mocha / coffee, followed by dark fruit like plums and blackcurrant. Moderate bitterness, somewhat more bittery palate at dark fruity finish. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel. Nice complexity. Slightly boozy. Very fruity for a Porter, somehow it works well together. Medium body, average carbonation.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Black with creamy tan head. Some roastiness, fruity, banana, plums, light chocolate, sweet with light to moderate fruity sourness. Smooth texture. Dry bitterish finish.

0.33l bottle from drinkahop.sk. Black color with medium beige head. Aroma: chocolate, prunes, dates, cane sugar. Taste: chocolate, light acidity, dried figs, sweet coffee. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Two if my favorite breweries, so the expectations were high and it kind of meets them.
