500ml bottle take-out from the brewpub. Pours dark with a decent pale tan head. Aroma of robust roast, dark malt. Flavour profile builds on this with additional espresso and bitter dark chocolate, with a solid roasty bitter close. Nicely flavoursome stout.

Panda at home, thanks to Grumbo/Graham, 31/03/23. Light black with a decent tan cap. Nose is dark malts, toffee, caramel, dried fruit rinds, light roast. Taste comprises caramel, chocolate biscuit, light spice, fruit cake, dark malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Okay stout.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Rutland county rate #10. Black-brown colour, bubbly beige foam head and aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit, chocolate. Taste is roast malt, chocolatey, fruity, with roasty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, roast bitter finish. Quite drinkable

4/3/2023. Bottle bought at the brewery. Rutland rating #50. Pours close to black with quite a large frothy pale tan coloured head. Aroma is roasted malt, dark fruits, caramel, berries, malt loaf, slightly ashy and waxy. Medium sweetness, with moderate but developing bitterness. Moderate body, oily, average to soft carbonation. Decent enough modestly abv'd stout.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, caramel, little nuts, hops and has a dry roasty finish.
