Bottle from a supermarket. Aroma is a bit fruity and quite yeasty with herbal notes, some citrus, light soapy, touch of anise. Moderate sweet and mild bitter with a medium body. Not the cleanest 'Saison', bit rough around the edges. Didn't dislike it though.

From bottle at the brewpub in Dokkum 08.07.23 with Terje while sailing Staande Mastroute, Netherlands. Straw colour. Dense, foamy and persistent white head. Fine aroma and taste of pilsner malt, wheat, oat, biscuits, herbs and grassy hops. Good and true to style. High carbonation.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Burg Bieren, Ermelo. Dutch brewery #514.
Hazy amber with a white head. Orange aroma with star anice. Sweet taste with a dry low bitter finish. At first I didn't like the star anice that much but after a while it grew on me. Nice atypical saison.

Troebel amber kleur, witte kraag. Licht rokerig, wat kruidig, hint van gist, wat doperwtjes maar niet heel storend gelukkig, citrus, bitter finish. Lichte body. Degelijk.

Bottle shared at home courtesy of Maakun. Hazy golden with white head. Anise seed and laurel up front, sweet malts, bit soapy. Moderate sweet and light bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Strange herbal aroma, not so great. --- Beer merged from original tick of Maerte Saison (Bonifatius Bier) on 09 Jan 2018 at 12:59 - Score: 5

Bottle shared. Hazy orange golden with small white head. Cumin, aniseed, green tea, light malts and soft spicy yeast. Under medium sweet and just medium bitter. Under medium bodied with weird dry feel. Bleh.
