From tap at Brouwerij/Proeflokaal Martinus. Aroma is stale fruits, malts, with floral and biscuity notes. Flavour is mild sweet and medium bitter. Body is medium. A bit ’dusty’, severely lacking in fresh fruity hoppiness, not much of an IPA.

0,33 l bottle. Cloudy golden with a more than one finger white foamy head. Caramel with orange on the nose. Taste is more on the fruity side, citrus, grape orange with pale grain and caramel. Mid hop bitterness. Some resin, some fruity sweetness near to sticky. Below average carbonation.

hazy pale yellow colour, large, dense white head; aroma wine cellar, grape, grapeseeds, some elderberry and jasmine;taste has the same notes with some caramel and vinous notes; good one, though definitely not a typical IPA 8I would rather categorize it as a blond belgian ale/tripel)

Bottle @ home. Murky yellow color, full sized foamy white to off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, somewhat hoppy but fairly low still imo. Taste malts, again somewhat hoppy with a light touch of orangepeel and citrus, light to moderate citrus bitter finish. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok beer, but bad as an IPA.

Sampler from tap at Martinus. Hazy pale golden with white head. Sweet malts, very malty, bready, banana, fudge. Quite sweet and light bitter. Medium body, very very malty. Creamy soft malt smoothie. Soft carbonation. Not very hoppy, wouldn’t have guessed this is supposed to be an IPA. More like imperial weizen or so.

Tap at the brewpub. Slight hazy golden with small white head. Light brown bread, dry malts, almonds, apricot, soft grassy hops. Quite malty but in a dry way, some soft fruits and hops but this is absolutely not an IPA. Under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit dry feel.
