Bottled (from Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Brownish black colour, small head. Aroma is raisins, mild vanilla, wood and some slight toffee notes. Flavour is toffee, some vanilla, wood and mild alcohol to it. Also ripe fruits and mild toast. A bit ashy notes in the finish, otherwise really smooth.

ABV: 8.0%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is malty, toasted - roasted, dark malt, sweet bread, light chocolate - cocoa. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, light chocolate - cocoa. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20220416]

--Bottled, from Vinmonopolet, Trysil. --Black, small head. Aroma of milk chocolate and coffee. Sweet with medium to full body and rounded mouthfeel. Tobacco, caramel and milk chocolate. Fairly low bitterness.

svart med beige skum som blir liggende. Lukter sjokolade, kakao og kaffe. Smaker sjokolade, appelsinskall, likør. noe skarp i munnfølelse.

Grei nok, med et liten snert av noe krydderaktig, og nesten noe pepperaktig stikkende. Sjokolade. Temmelig søt og fyldig, noe de har fiksert med laktose - som dermed drar den fra et juleøl mer til en juledessert-øl. Det går jo det også.

Black with a medium light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, druer fruits, licorice and spices. Light bitter with a roasted, dried fruit and spices end. Not bad, got the Christmas feel. BB 10.2020, bought at vinmonopolet.no nov 2019

Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet, vintage 2018)
Dark brown colour, small beige head. Toasted chocolaty aroma, some dried dark fruits too. Medium-bodied. Smooth, toasted, dark fruits, roastyness in the finish. Even some alcohol. Nice winter warmer.

330 ml bottle, batch #130, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Black colour, thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, decaying fruits, lactose, orange peel. Flavour of roast malts, chocolate, coffee, orange peel, hints of vanilla and lactose, some bittering hops.

330ml bottle, batch 121, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Crocheted lacing from a bubbly, fawn-coloured head. Roasted malty nose, earthy, hints of ash. Rather rich taste profile of dried fruits, liquorice, and a backdrop of red currant. Roasted dark malty ending, long-lived. Fine bodied. Decent Yuletide enjoyment in this one. (Tromsø 30.12.2018).
