330 ml bottle, batch #130, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Black colour, thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, decaying fruits, lactose, orange peel. Flavour of roast malts, chocolate, coffee, orange peel, hints of vanilla and lactose, some bittering hops.

330ml bottle, batch 121, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Crocheted lacing from a bubbly, fawn-coloured head. Roasted malty nose, earthy, hints of ash. Rather rich taste profile of dried fruits, liquorice, and a backdrop of red currant. Roasted dark malty ending, long-lived. Fine bodied. Decent Yuletide enjoyment in this one. (Tromsø 30.12.2018).

Svart med fingerhøyt lys brunt skum. Lukter kakao, sjokolade, anis og rosiner. Middels fylde. Smaker kokos, mørk sjokolade, salt lakris og noe søtlig stenfrukt.

Bottle. A close to black beer with a minimal sized dark beige head. Roasted malts, some coffee and a touch of dark dried fruits. Licorice, vanilla hints and a faint alcohol touch. It's smooth on the palate, semi-sweet and nicely carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts, licorice and some coffee and dark dried fruits. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, but still not.
