Svart med fingerhøyt lys brunt skum. Lukter kakao, sjokolade, anis og rosiner. Middels fylde. Smaker kokos, mørk sjokolade, salt lakris og noe søtlig stenfrukt.

Bottle 500ml @ gunnfryd
Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, lactose, caramel, alcohol and chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, boozy, caramel and chocolate finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A close to black beer with a minimal sized dark beige head. Roasted malts, some coffee and a touch of dark dried fruits. Licorice, vanilla hints and a faint alcohol touch. It's smooth on the palate, semi-sweet and nicely carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts, licorice and some coffee and dark dried fruits. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, but still not. It's sort of cloying. 180127

10.11.2017, 0,5l bottle @ home:
Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, spices, grass, toast, chocolate, lactose, pine needles, hops, bark. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, dark malts, grass, minerals, spices, lactose, toast, hay, chocolate, caramel, roasted grain, pine needles. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly watery and harsh roasted mouthfeel. Kind of boring.
