Tap @ the brewery. Slightly unclear, reddish amber body with a moderate sized, but fine lacing tan head. Aroma is malty, toasted, slightly caramel, some dry fruit and a faint piny hint. Flavor is sweet, but not too sweet, malt, toast, caramel, dry fruit and balancing bitterness. Well made with a fine balancing flavor, body and pleasant aftertaste. A nice, easy drinkable and very food friendly beer, like a Christmas beer is supposed to be.

Amber colour, steady beige head. Yeasty, grassy and berryish aroma. Medium-bodied. Berryish, sweetish, alcohol, herbal bitterness in the flavour. A bit harsh.

330 ml bottle, batch #256, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%, IBU 25. Overcarbonated, a reddish brown colored beer appears only slowly under a huge off-white head. Aroma of piney American hops, also notes of toasted malts and burnt breadcrumbs. The flavour is medium dry again with toasted malts, burnt breadcrumbs and piney hops, a hint of caramel. Not my favourite Christmas beer.

330ml bottle, batchnr 256, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Crocheted lacing, covering beige head, near-clear dark brown body. Moderate smell of brown malts and fruity hops. Fine blended taste profile of ripe red orange and brown malts alongside moments of pine needles towards a lightly roasted bitter ending. Medium plus bodied. Pleasant with a decent Yuletide feel. (Tromsø 28.12.2018).
