Medium sweet and rich flavour, notes of various types of malts, distinct caramel, burnt breadcrumbs, mild spices, dark dried fruits, moderate hops.

Can at home. Pours a deep reddish brown colour with a big beige creamy head. Aroma of dates, caramel, rye bread, leather and sweet biscuits. Flavour of dates, caramel, rye bread and some alcohol in a little dry ending. Has a slick and soft mouth feel, medium to full body and a light bitterness. Solid doppelbock.

Can. A clear auburn colored beer with a dense finger-thick beige head. It has a bready, malty aroma, with caramel, some dried fruits and a touch of fresh fruits. Some alcohol and milk chocolate. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and with a soft carbonation. Caramel, bread crust, some chocolate and dried fruits, and a touch of alcohol. Some grassy notes towards the finish. Shared can at annual yule beer tasting on board Fridtjofen 07.12.18 and 08.12.18. Dark brown. Beige head. Aroma and taste of brittle, dark malt, chocolate, wood, pine, bark and coffee. Balancing bitterness is lingering on.
