Bottle. Clear golden body with a firm white head. Light aroma, pretty typical pils with some grain, malt and slightly grassy. Flavor is also clean and classic pilsner, mild but very smooth and a bit on the sweeter side, moderate bitterness but distinct and floral. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not bad at all for a traditionally macro pilsner (Arendals).

330ml bottle picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Trondheim. Filmy layer to a clear straw-golden body. Clingy lacing. Modest aroma of bread and grass, mid-sweet. Subdued taste profile of pale malts and mid-sweet pears followed by moments of oily hops towards the ending. Drinkable. Rather sweet version of the style. (Hotel room, Trondheim 05.08.2017).

Bottle. A crystal clear golden colored beer with a finger-thick white head. Looking pretty cute actually. The aroma is quite weak, with grass, hay and a quite generic fruityness. Perfumed hints too. Indications of a sweet flavor to come are soon confirmed. It’s rather low on bitterness, which in my opinion makes it a bit unbalanced. Grass, hay, some piney notes and a generic fruityness. Yellow apples and pears mostly. It’s smooth on the palate, medium to full-bodied and semi-sweet, with a fruity-sweet finish. Pity it’s as sweet as it is, else I’d easily award some more points. 170523
