Can 500ml @ gunnfryd
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a grainy, caramel, grass bitter finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. An unclear amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacing. Caramel, raisin, roasted malts, licorice and a spiced touch in the aroma. It's full-bodied, smooth and quite dry on the palate, with flavors of licorice, caramel and raisins. Some spiced hints too. Lasting finish. The flavor- and aroma-profile reminds me more of a stout than anything else, but it needs some recipe adjustments. 180127

440ml can, batch #48, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Stable off-white head to a cloudy red-brown body. Lacing rings down the glass. Malt driven aroma of nuts, caramel, and almond. Decent taste profile of caramel malts, bite of chocolate, and almond balanced by a backdrop of herbal hops, slightly roasted to the ending. Medium bodied. Fine with our pickled herring dish. 440 ml can, batch #48, as Hogna Vixen Juleøl, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.0%. Hazy reddish brown colour, large off-white head. Aroma of malts, some of them lightly roasted, notes of brown bread and burnt breadcrumbs. The flavour has brown and roast malts with a slight sweetness. Moderate hops. Not too bad.

Hazy amber with dark off white head - Dark malt aroma with some dark fruity tones - Malt body with a good caramel flavour with some dark fruity tones as well and there is some hints of bitterness in the back to balance - The malt and some bitterness goes into the finish - This was good
