Canned (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Very deep brown colour, small white head. Aroma is rosted, nutty and some spruce with mild tartness. Flavour is nutty, roasted, some spruce, alcohol and quite much spices, making it a bit too sweet.

Backlog January 2017. Dark brown, almost black body under a big, dense brown head. Nice aroma of dark, roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is sweet dark malt, chocolate, coffee and smoke. Fine body and pleasant aftertaste. Nice one.

0,33 boks fra polets nettbutikk, hjemme: brunsvart med ok skum. Mørk dessertkaffe og like mørk sjokolade, hint av røyk/torv, lær og bjørnebær. Eminent nytbar.

330ml can. from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 7%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast and smoked malts, hints of chocolate and mild coffee. Flavour with the same elements, also a certain fruitiness of prunes and plums.

Can, at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. A dark tan to black colored beer with a minimal sized beige head. The aroma is nice, but a bit weak, with roasted malts, chocolate, some burnt notes and a touch of charcoal. It's full-bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, rather dryish, with a medium sweetness level balanced by a nice bitterness. Roasted malts, chocolate, licorice and a touch of burnt down bonfire in the flavor. Long finish. An easy drinkable and nice beer. 171021

Can. Dark brown color, yellowish foam. Aroma: caramel, coffee, light smoke, a little dried fruit. Taste: caramel, prunes, light acidity, a little coffee, a light sour, a bit bitter.

Olmost black with a dark brown head - Roasted malt aroma - Malt bosy with roasted malt with some choclate notes and bitterness - The dark malt and fruity bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

Dark brown colour, small brownish head. Toasted, coffeish aroma. Some licorice. Medium-bodied. Coffee, licorice, caramel and toastyness finishing peaty smokeyness. A bit restless.

33cl can. Vasa tasting. Pretty much black in color with a thin brown head. Tobacco, chocolate, ash. Heavy. Hoppy, licorice, tobacco in flavor. Full bodied. Solid brew.

Ølfestivalen Nærbø 2017. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is smoked, licorice, malt. Flavor is sweet, smoked, hop, malt, licorice, yeast, caramel, chocolate. Interesting beer.
