Backlog February 2017. Clear amber body under a dense tan head. Refreshing aroma of citric fruit. Taste is plain, straight forward pale malt, peach, citric fruit, some tropical fruit and nice bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent.

Hazed golden color with a fine white head. Ok lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Crisp malty, fruity, mild pine and citric. Nice crisp, clean easy drinkable ale. Very session able.

Golden with a white head - Hop aroma that has somer herbal notes - Malt body with hop flavour that is herbal and has some bitterness - Thin malt finish with herbal notes and bitterness - A little bit to thin on the malt side, but still nice

Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, dark golden in colour and with a dense finger thick off-white head leaving some lacing. Mostly fruity nose, with canned peaches, candy apricot, orange and a generic tropical fruit scent. A very light bready hint in the far back. It’s quite bitter on the palate, not over-carbonated but it still feels like a bubble explosion in the mouth. Medium body. Grapefruit, orange, apricot hints and some mango flavor, leaving little room for the malts, even the yeast is pushed to the far back. Long bitter, piney and grapefruity finish. Probably one of the best Aja beers I’ve had, but it’s still nothing more than a decent brew. 160701

330ml bottle, lot 12/16, bought at Meny Oslo City. A beige head reduced to a patchy layer. Clear amber coloured body. Decent lacing. Inviting smell of mild caramel malts and orange. Sappy flavour of orange on a backbone of brown malts. Malt-fruity finish with satisfying bitterness. Fine bodied. A well made, tasty ipa (hotel room, Oslo 11.05.2016).
