Vårt øl Trollfjord, er en hyllest til nordnorsk natur og dens dramatikk. Trollfjorden har en trolsk myte samt at dramatiske hendelser har funnet sted i den trange fjorden. Frontetiketten prydes av Kaare Espolin Johnson sitt kunstverk og tolker fred og fortrolighet etter det dramatiske Trollfjordslaget. Front etiketten er signert med Kaare sin egen unike håndskrift.

ABV: 4.7%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, floral. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, biscuit malt, grass, floral, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20230311]

Bottled (thanks djoeye!). Golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grains, some herbal tones with mild bready tones. Flavour is herbal, grainy, some sweet malts and bready tones.

A really nice and refreshing pilsner with an ok character Hazed golden in the glass with a fine head Decent intensity in the aroma Tad sweet, but quite ok. Fine carbonation level Malty, herbal and flowery flavor [Bottle from a trade with Foffern]

330 ml bottle, from Helgø Meny Sola. ABV is 4.7%. Clear golden colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of pilsener malts and floral and grassy hops. Nice pilsener flavour, a bit on the sweet side, with decent floral and herbal hops.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of wet hay, pale malt, minerals, some sweet corn, spicy hops and grass. The flavour has more grass with some hops, hay, caramel and sweet corn. Has a slick and light mouth feel, light body and light to medium bitterness. An okay pilsener on the sweeter and hoppier side.

Small bubbly shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, weeds, hay, cereal, dried grain, minerals, flowers, bark, paper, sawdust. Taste is harsh mineraly, weeds, minerals, paper, bark, hay, dried grain, flowers, sawdust, grass, dried grain. Medium bitterness, harsh grassy mouthfeel. Meh!

0,33 flaske fra Coop Obs Harstad, hjemme skjærtorsdag: nesten helt klar gylden med kort skum. Lett florale toner med litt citrus i tillegg. Men for lite av alt. Mild bitterhed i avslutningen. Utterly forgettable.
