Aroma karamell, kaffe, malt. Utseende brun med beige skum. Smak karamell, syrup, hvetebakst. En smakrik øl med god fylde og god balanse

Bottle at Craig's. Pours hazy orange, nose is caramel, marzipan, sugary, taste is sweet, chewy, malty toffee.

330 ml bottle. Good looking, clear deep red body with a dense, medium sized tan head. Aroma is caramel and toast. Flavor is sweet caramel, candy sugar, some toast and a slightly alcoholic heat. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. A well made Dobbelbock.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - batch #73 - BBE 02/2037, thanks Rune, 20171230) The beer clear and dark reddish brown. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sweetness, earth and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A nice balanced strong bock.

Bottle, twenty years before bbd. Pours slightly hazy mahogany, with a small creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts with grains, kandi sugar and dark fruits, as well as leather and wood. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with cereals, dark fruits and muscovado, as well as leather, cocoa and wood.

Dark amber with off white head - Malt aroma with hints of caramel - Malt body with caramel flavour with small hints of bitterness - The malt flavour goes into the finish - This was good
