500ml bottle bought from djoeye. Clear copper coloured body. Firm, dense, beige head with good retention. Spotty lacing. Grainy roasted malts on the nose, hints of oatmeal. Doughy flavours joined by nuts and roasted dark chocolate malts. Roasted malty end. Medium bodied. Pretty nice (Tromsø 19.01.2017).

Flaske 500ml kjøpt av djoeye. Veldig mørk amber. Middels høyt skum. Plikklacing. Lett maltaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken karamell. Blir tørr etter hvert.

Flaske fra Kilpis Finnland. Aroma malt, karamell. Utseende mørk brun med lett beige skum som forsvinner. Smak kaffe, roasted malt, karamell, humle. En smakfull og delvis fyldig øl godt balansert med lett bitterhet

Bottle 50 cl. Dark Brown, clear with a medium lightbrown head. Aroma of malt, bread, caramel and hops. Bitter taste with a malt and bread ending.

Bright, beautiful a bit red brown beer with a medium head. Malty, rye and bread on aroma. Taste is malty, bread and a bit dried fruits. Also a bit metal feeling. However, very balanced and smooth, enjoyable beer.

A dark brown beer, a head is dense, light beige and medium sized. Aroma has strong breadyness, some rye, herbal bitterness. Taste has breadyness, herbs, quite dry, hint of fruitness. Medium bodied, fluffy and smooth. Quality is noticed.

Aroma has grainy malt, toffee and some hops. Flavour has malt, toffee, menthol and mild metallic notes in the finish. Aroma was promising but flavour is just too hoppy.

50 cl bottle. Poured mahogany color with a thick white head. Aroma has nutty, bready and grainy malts. Flavor has nuts, toffee, caramel, grains. Dry, and light bitter finish. Quite sharp compared to the Dusseldorf altbiers.

(Keg at Villi Wäinö, 20160820) The beer dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, molasses and malts.. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, molasses, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A good easily drinkable brew with many malt flavours.
