Many thanks to yngwie for a 330ml bottle of this one. Rocky, beige head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Cloudy red-brownish body. Caramel aroma added by ripe citrus. Mixed taste of ripe red orange and caramel followed by a malt-fruity ending, slightly roasted. Medium bodied. Drinks quite well (Shared with Finn and djoeye at a rating session in Tromsø 10.12.2016).

Bottle 330ml @ home
Pours dark hazy reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape and hint of strawberries. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long citrus, caramel and grapefruit finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

330 ml bottle. Slightly unclear brownish amber body with a nice, dense beige head. Nice aroma of caramel malt, toffee, toast and dry fruit. Flavor is close to perfect balancing between sweetness and bitterness, sweet malt, caramel, bitter hops with mature fruit and pine, slightly toasted, hint of dough. Balanced body and nice, long lasting aftertaste. Tasty, easy to drink and quite impressive balance for this low ABV.

Bottle. It’s an unclear brown beer with a reddish tint and a dense, two-finger light beige head leaving some lacing. The piney, resiny hops hit the nose first, followed by orange zest, caramel and roasted malt notes. Vague hints of dark dried fruits too. It’s a bit thin on the palate, not bad considering the strength though, it’s nicely carbonated and semi-dry. Some sweetness in the mouth, and a nice bitterness level, with notes of roasted malts, toast, orange and blue grapes. A hearty dose of pine cones makes the beer more interesting. Lasting roasted, caramel finish with the piney, bitter hops dominating. A quite pleasant one, wouldn’t mind a tad more body though. Was nice with my nachos plate though. 160226
