A crisp, refreshing, light-bodied malt-flavored beer with a well-balanced finish. A Lager that drinks like a Pilsner. A liquid embodiment of living life to the fullest. A beverage made from pure spring water and the choicest hops. A beer with such good taste, it’s chosen you to drink it.

Canette 355ml. Couleur jaune très pâle translucide, mousse blanche. Arôme de maïs, végétal, un peu de paille. Goût végétal, sucré, infime amertume. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps faible.

Oh swell. That Dos Equis Amber tap turns out to have Special Lager coming from it. I mean, no, neither option is a good one, but dammit, I do not need a pint of fizzy yellow DESL in front of me at this point in the evening. Yellow-gold color with a slight white head. Smells like shitty lunchtime street corn the vendor has left over from the night before. Tastes the same, with an all-encompassing buttery yeasty blech dominating the flavor. Sweet. Unpleasant. Shoulda asked for a lime.

F: not big, white, quick gone. C: pale gold, clear. A: malt, light grassy, hint of caramel, light skunk. T: malt, light bread, corn, iron, light body, medium carbonation, for me not very good lager with some skunk tones, 355ml bottle from New World supermarket near airport in Nadi in Fiji.

Bottle from the Emperor Cambridge. Drunk in good company. Shame about the beer. Light lager yellow with a tightish white head. Smells very malty with a hint of ... paprika maybe. Stale malty notes with an odd grassy peppery note. Long sweet aftertaste. A mess even by macro lager standards. Boo hiss.

355ml bottle. Clear pale golden yellow with a thin white head, quickly disappearing. Aroma is... nothing really, slight hint of grain or corn that’s pretty much it. Taste: grain, corn, light grassy hops. Moderate-heavy carbonation, thin mouthfeel, slightly sweet, little to no bitterness. Not at all unpleasant, easily drinkable in fact, but really quite bland.

A golden lager with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, crisp German malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a crisp malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, light metallic notes, thin, but not offensive. Can from Oxxo, Cancún.

Lukt: Humle og malt.
Utseende: Gyllen.
Skum/kullsyre: Tynt skum.
