Slank, men absolutt med "a lingering afterburn".

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Ebony. Dense pale brown head and lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Complex taste, also with berries. Medium bitterness, chili and berries lingering on in aftertaste.

On tap at Bergen Ølfestival. It’s a dark brown beer topped by a dense, light tan head leaving lacings. The aroma is mostly on the caramel and toffee side, with roasted malts, coffee and some butterscotch. Not much chili or berries to be found. The same goes for the flavor, the additions just lurks in the background, but fortunately the butterscotch isn’t as evident in the flavor as in the aroma. And of course, you get used to it. Full-bodied and quite dry. Overall, sure a fine brew, pity there were some butterscotch going on. 150906
